Medical doctor (MBBS), having master’s degree in International Primary Healthcare from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry -Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and PhD from the Institute for Health Research, University of Bedfordshire. Has cross-cultural clinical experience overseas in more than 20 international hospitals and clinics. Worked with multidisciplinary research teams and funded projects related to cyber-victimisation and chronic conditions, diabetes peer support groups in East London, and using innovative technologies in healthcare. Actively involved in health promotion campaigns and designing culturally sensitive health promotion educational activities. Teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. Novelist and short story writer with international recognition.
